Infectious Diseases and Vaccines Committee

The Infectious Diseases and Vaccines committee organizes sessions for ASGCT Annual Meetings that highlight cell- and gene-based approaches for preventing, mitigating, or curing infectious diseases. This includes the development of novel vaccine strategies, particularly those that are likely to be evaluated in clinical trials or for which clinical trial data are already available. In addition, the committee may include speakers addressing emerging pathogens and hurdles to controlling infection.
